February is short, opinionated, and doing a lot with very little. It's Black History Month in the US, it hosts the only holiday in the year that comes with a quiz about whether you actually like the person sitting across from you, and every four years it bolts on an extra day just to keep the calendar honest. It's also the month where the Super Bowl, Groundhog Day, and Lincoln's birthday all fight for attention in the same week.
